Cricket betting at kkdb — place bets on every format from T20 to Test
Odds, markets and live betting for every BPL, IPL and international cricket match, all in one place. A dedicated cricket betting experience built for cricket fans at kkdb.
Three formats, three different betting experiences
Each cricket format has its own pace and character, and the betting options change accordingly. kkdb supports betting on all three formats, with separate markets for each.
The fastest format
Matches finish in just 20 overs, so odds can shift on every ball. Leagues like BPL and IPL are the most popular in this format. From the toss to the last ball six, there is an opportunity to bet at every moment. T20 is the easiest format for new bettors to understand.
BPL · IPL · T20 WCThe fifty-over match
The 50-over match combines strategy and patience. You can follow odds movement across three phases — the opening powerplay, the mid-game build-up, and the final death overs. This format sees the most betting activity during the ICC World Cup and bilateral series.
ICC WC · Bilateral SeriesThe five-day classic
Test cricket is the longest and most analytical format. Pitch conditions, weather, and the balance of innings all play a role in setting the odds. A draw is always possible, so you can bet on three outcomes. Test betting tends to be preferred by more experienced bettors.
ICC Test ChampionshipBPL, IPL and international tournaments
The BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) is the most popular competition among Bangladeshi cricket fans. Every match in the domestic franchise league carries its own excitement. kkdb offers betting markets for every BPL match.
Although IPL is India's franchise league, it has a large following in Bangladesh. Each IPL season features over 70 matches, and every match comes with a variety of markets. On the international side, kkdb also covers the T20 World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, and bilateral series.
When the Bangladesh national team (the Tigers) takes the field, local bettors show the most interest. kkdb offers its widest range of betting markets for Tigers matches at ICC events.
kkdb also offers betting on football and other sports. Markets are available for tournaments like the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, and the English Premier League. That said, cricket carries a different kind of passion and depth in Bangladesh, and local knowledge is easier to apply there. For more information about betting, you can visit the kkdb Bet page.
Popular betting markets — how each one works
kkdb offers several cricket betting markets. Each market calls for a different type of analysis — here is a brief explanation of seven popular ones.
Match Winner
A bet on which team will win the match. Two outcomes in T20 and ODI; three in Test (Team A win, Team B win, Draw). The simplest market — ideal for new bettors to start with.
Most popularToss Winner
A bet on which team will win the toss before the match starts. The result is known before play begins, making this a quick-settling market. When pitch conditions are significant, winning the toss becomes more important.
Quick settlementTop Batsman
A bet on which batsman will score the most runs in the match. Analysing pitch type and batting order helps with this market. You can compare multiple players within the same team.
Performance basedTotal Runs Over/Under
A bet on whether the total runs in the match will go above or below a set number. Example: will total runs in a T20 be over or under 160? Useful for analysing pitch and weather conditions.
Pitch-dependent analysisMulti Bet
Combining results from multiple matches into a single bet. If every selection is correct, all the odds multiply and the total return increases. But if even one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost — higher risk, higher potential return.
High riskFirst Wicket to Fall
A bet on at what score or in which over the first wicket of an innings will fall. This market is very active during the first few overs in live betting. The bowling pair and the form of the opening batsmen are key factors.
Popular in-playBetting Exchange (Back and Lay)
In exchange betting, you bet directly against other bettors. BACK means you bet that a team will win; LAY means you bet that a team will not win. Example: if you BACK Team A at 2.00 odds with a ৳1,000 bet, you win ৳1,000 profit if they win and lose ৳1,000 if they lose. Commission applies.
Exchange marketReading odds in three formats
Cricket betting odds are displayed in three formats — Decimal, Fractional and American. kkdb generally uses Decimal, but it is useful to understand all three. The numbers in the two examples below are for explanation only — they are not actual odds or a guarantee of winnings.
Betting should always be for entertainment. Read kkdb's responsible gaming guidelines to learn how to bet safely.
Example 1 — Team A wins, bet ৳1,000
Example 2 — Team B wins (favourite), bet ৳1,000
Live In-Play — bet while the match is on
After every wicket and every over, the odds are recalculated. You can watch the match and make your decision as it unfolds.
The defining feature of live betting is that odds change every moment. If a team scores quickly in the first powerplay, their odds shorten and the opposition's odds lengthen. Equally, back-to-back wickets can reverse the picture entirely.
Say Team A is batting and looking to set a target of 180 in 20 overs. If after 10 overs they are 60 for 4, Team B's chances of winning increase and their odds start to fall. Backing Team B at that point is a very different decision compared to placing the same bet before the match.
It is better not to rush decisions in in-play betting. Remember, this is a form of entertainment.
A few practical points before you start betting
Keeping a few simple things in mind makes cricket betting more enjoyable. These are not strategies — they are basic precautions.
-
Set a budget. Before each match, decide how much you are willing to bet. Do not go beyond that limit — betting is for entertainment, not as a source of income.
-
Start with one market. The match winner market is the easiest for beginners. Avoid betting on several markets at once until you are comfortable with how things work.
-
Check pitch reports and team changes. In cricket, pitch conditions and lineup changes directly affect the odds. Take a moment to look these up before the match.
-
Keep the number of selections low in a multi bet. Stick to two or three selections. The more selections you add, the harder it is to get them all right — and the lower your chances of winning become.
-
Be patient in live betting. There is a temptation to act on every ball. But making rushed decisions in-play rarely works out well. Wait a little, and make your call once the situation has settled.
-
Read the terms and conditions. Before you start betting, take a look at kkdb's terms and conditions. Everything including bonus wagering requirements is clearly set out there.
